Speaker Dr. Greg Waselkov (Professor Emeritus at University of South Alabama and author) will discuss Paleo-Indian Artifacts. He is author of Forging Southeastern Identities: Social Archaeology, Ethnohistory, and Folklore of the Mississippian to Early Historic South, A Conquering Spirit: Fort Mims and the Redstick War of 1813–1814, and more. This project is supported by the Alabama Humanities Alliance, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
