Description
CANCELED - The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual BBQ Cook-Off at the Fairhope Civic Center. It will feature cook teams, live music, demonstrations, and children's activities. At 2 pm, cooking teams will begin offering samples to attendees. A team of judges will award prizes for best overall BBQ, Ribs, Chicken wings, and Wild Game Category. Attendees will vote on a people's choice award by dropping money in a team bucket. Each dollar equals one vote. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund additional equipment for fire trucks and stations.
