DESCRIPTION:CANCELED - The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual BBQ Cook-Off at the Fairhope Civic Center. It will feature cook teams\, live music\, demonstrations\, and children's activities. At 2 pm\, cooking teams will begin offering samples to attendees. A team of judges will award prizes for best overall BBQ\, Ribs\, Chicken wings\, and Wild Game Category. Attendees will vote on a people's choice award by dropping money in a team bucket. Each dollar equals one vote. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund additional equipment for fire trucks and stations.
