USA Health to host free special needs resource day on Tuesday, Sept. 24

MOBILE, Alabama (9/9/2024) – USA Health is offering education and support about school services for families of children with special needs on Tuesday, Sept. 24 during a “back to school” themed Special Needs Resource Day from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Strada Patient Care Center in the first-floor lobby.

Representatives from Alabama Department of Public Health’s Disabilities Advocacy Program, Alabama Department of Mental Health Medicaid Autism Services, Children’s Rehabilitation/Vocational Rehabilitation Transitional Services, Coastal Family Partners, Gulf Coast Regional Early Childhood Services (GRECS) Early Head Start/Head Start, Mobile County Public Schools Special Education, the University of South Alabama PASSAGE Program and USA Regional Autism Network (USARAN) will be available to answer questions and provide information.

The special needs resource day is offered as a collaboration of USARAN and the USA Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Clinic.
