Impact 100 Baldwin County Names 2021 Grant Recipients
$450,000 to be Invested into our County
DAPHNE, Alabama – Five area non-profits will now be able to better serve our community thanks to new grants from Impact 100 Baldwin County. At its annual An Evening of Impact on October 26, Impact 100 Baldwin County awarded $450,000 to the Historic Blakeley Foundation, South Baldwin Literacy Council, Daphne Search and Rescue, Mary’s Shelter and the Alabama Free Clinic.
These five agencies were chosen from the focus areas of Arts & Culture & Recreation; Education; Environment & Preservation; Family; and Health & Wellness. They will each receive $90,000.
The non-profit organizations were selected from a competitive field of applicants and vetted by a rigorous review process including site visits, financial analysis and in-depth discussions within the respective focus group. The finalists made a short presentation about their projects at An Evening of Impact and members voted for who they found most compelling. The 2021 recipients were announced the very same night.
“Impact 100 Baldwin County truly has an incredible impact,” local businessman and philanthropist Allen Cox said to members at the gathering. “The work done by this organization makes a tremendous difference in this community, not only through the projects funded but also on the individual and family level.”
