Speaker: Peco Forsman of Silverhill; local historian and author of “She’s Bound to be a Goer” about bay boats in the Mobile area. Bay Boats that were used from 1847 – 1932 to transport people and goods from the Port City of Mobile to the Eastern Shore. Author of She’s Bound to be a Goer, Bay Boats in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. This project is supported by the Alabama Humanities Alliance, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
