Description
On Saturday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m., a POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony and commemoration of Vietnam veterans will be held at the Spanish Fort Community Center at 7361 Spanish Fort Boulevard.
WWII prisoner of war Sy Lichtenfeld will be the keynote speaker and Congressman Bradley Byrne will be featured as a guest speaker.
The event is open to all and families are encouraged to bring their children.
During the Vietnam War commemoration program, every Vietnam veteran will be presented a lapel pin and proclamation signed by the President of the United States.
