John Quiñones, Emmy-winning ABC News veteran and host of What Would You Do? will speak at the University of South Alabama's Mitchell Center on Friday, October 1. There is no charge to attend; however, registration is encouraged. Growing up in poverty in San Antonio, Quinones went on to earn a master’s degree from Columbia University’s elite journalism school. He knows first-hand the value of education and overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles to achieve dreams.
