John S. Sledge, author of the award-winning books, The Mobile River and These Rugged Days: Alabama in the Civil War, will narrate a three-hour cruise across the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and down the historic Mobile River leaving a wake of history—some previously untold—behind. An authority on local history and an accomplished storyteller, Sledge helps bring people, places, and events from this area’s rich past to life. Signed copies of his books will be available for purchase on the cruise.
