Back to School with Red, White and Blue

Description

The annual “Back to School with Red, White & Blue” event has just been scheduled for its third year in which we expect to surpass 1,000 students assisted overall!
 
The program has been designed to help struggling families obtain many of the necessities needed to get their kids back into the classroom. 
 
Last year we provided:
Book bags and school supplies
School uniforms (two per student)
Haircuts
Sports Physicals
Emergency / ID / Fingerprint cards
 
Additionally, we had a lot of fun with:
Water slides
Fun with Art
Reading Tent
Face Painting
Cook-out with hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, chips and sno-cones
Positive interaction with local law enforcement officers and firefighters
