From a powerful swell to an ethereal glissando, harp and organ is a unique instrumental ensemble capable of a vast expressive range. This concert will feature a broad gamut of musical styles including a stately concerto by Handel, a romantic Aria by Grandjany, the joyful sounds of a gurgling brook in “Am Springbrunnen” by Zabel, the thrilling Widor Toccata and more! This program will also include deeply meaningful Spirituals and hymns, a genre in which the celestial sounds of harp and organ are unmatched.
