Tickets are $30 and available from any fire fighter, at the Ingleside Fire Station or at the door. Cook teams are $300 and each team will receive six tickets, t-shirts and huggers. Sponsorships are also available starting at $500 and donations are accepted. Tshirts, cups and other promotional items will also be available during the event. The FVFD is a 501c3 organization.
Description
The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department will host its 3rd Annual BBQ Cook off Saturday, March 30. Ticket holders will sample each teams BBQ and vote on the People’s Choice Award. Members of the Fairhope City Council will serve as celebrity judges. In addition to People’s Choice Award, prizes will be awarded for best overall BBQ, best ribs, chicken and wild game. Entertainment will begin at 2 p.m. with local musicians and at 6 p.m. the Velcro Pygmies will begin.
