Alabama will hold its 11th annual Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday beginning Friday, February 25, 2022 at 12:01 am and ending Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 12:00 midnight. This gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain severe weather preparedness items free of state sales tax. Local sales tax may apply.
