DESCRIPTION:Under His Wings will be hosting our second annual Candy Cane Dash 5K and 1 mile fun run on in December 10\, 2022 at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. There are many sponsorship and donation opportunities. \n\n \n\nFunds raised will be used for the direct care of girls whose past have been so traumatic they are at risk mentally and emotionally. Specifically\, it will fund our residential program to shelter\, feed\, educate\, and provide counseling for the needs of the girls and their families. \n\n \n\nThe mission of Under His Wings (UHW) is to provide a loving Christian home for at-risk teenage girls\, connect them to who they are in the eyes of God\, and equip them with life skills essential to wholeness. Though we are certified by Department of Human Resources (DHR)\, Under His Wings is not funded by any government agency and depends on corporate and private donations.
