SUMMARY:Junior Naturalist Program
DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate in a fun hands-on learning program sponsored by the Alabama Master Naturalists. Learn about our native trees\, build pine cone barometers\, create leaf art\, learn about keeping a nature journal and more. All supplies are provided. Complimentary with regular park admission and/or registration to our Junior Naturalist Program. Pre-registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Event takes place at the Old House Site prior to Survival Principles Instruction Program (11:00 AM-12:00 PM) The Alabama Master Naturalists are trained volunteers who promote awareness and understanding of Alabama's natural world through science-based information and research.
