DESCRIPTION:Continue to make Alabama the Beautiful by participating in the 33rd Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup. This year's cleanup will "kick off" on September 19\, 2020. Select zones will have dumpsters in place through September 27\, 2020. This should give volunteers time to spread out cleanup efforts without crowding and gathering within a narrow time frame. Volunteer safety is our number one priority. A such\, we want to encourage proper social distancing and ask that you wear personal protective equipment when feasible. We also ask that you use the Clean Swell app to record your data collection. The app is free and you can download it on any mobile device. During the event\, come prepared with sunscreen\, a hat\, gloves\, shoes and lots of water. Conditions can change.
